THIS IS A DIAGRAM OF A REPLICATION BUBBLE
The bubble will increase in size as the forks move down the original DNA helix in both directions. Lots of these bubbles are started at different points of the DNA helix. Eventually, the bubbles run into each other and "join together." This site will give you an idea of how this occurs.
